Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Mandara, every reservation involves dedicated medical scheduling, therapy allocation, and personalised recovery planning. We request guests to review our policy carefully before confirming their stay.

  • Booking Confirmation — A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of 100% advance payment. Due to limited residences and structured medical preparation, partial payments do not secure a booking.
  • Cancellation Timeline — Cancellation charges are calculated based on the scheduled check-in date.

    Cancellation 30 Days or More Before Check-In

    20% of the total booking amount will be retained towards administrative and planning charges. The remaining amount will be refunded.

    Cancellation Between 15 to 29 Days Before Check-In

    50% of the total booking amount will be retained. The balance amount will be refunded.

    Cancellation Within 14 Days of Check-In

    Cancellations made within 14 days of check-in are non-refundable. As Mandara operates with personalised medical scheduling and limited cottage availability, short-notice cancellations significantly affect planning and allocation.

  • Medical Exception — We recognise that pregnancy and women’s health journeys may involve unexpected medical developments.

    In the event of:

    • Medically certified termination of pregnancy
    • Severe pregnancy-related complications
    • Doctor-advised cancellation of travel or stay

    Guests may submit valid medical documentation issued by a registered medical practitioner. Upon verification and approval, a refund will be processed with only 5% of the total booking amount deducted towards administrative processing charges. Mandara reserves the right to review and verify submitted medical documentation.

  • No-Show — Failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior written cancellation will result in full retention of the booking amount.
  • Early Departure — If a guest chooses to conclude their stay earlier than scheduled, unused nights and services are non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling — One-time rescheduling may be permitted if requested at least 15 days prior to check-in, subject to availability. Revised pricing may apply based on the new stay dates. Rescheduled stays must be utilised within 6 months of the original booking date.
  • Force Majeure — In the event of government restrictions, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, Mandara may offer rescheduling options. Refund decisions in such cases remain at management discretion.
  • Refund Processing — Approved refunds will be processed within 21 working days and issued through the original mode of payment.
